I wonder, where can a shadow lead you?

I dare you to make a map out of a shadow.

Find a nice shadow. Study it’s angles and how it bends over and around objects.

Draw an outline of the shadow with a pen on a blank sheet of paper.

This outline is now your map. Follow the line of the shadow. You decide the scale and the rules. Does an inch equal a few feet or a block? Is the map contained in your house, backyard, your neighborhood, the library, or the city?

On your journey, be sure to add notes and landmarks to your map. Note the spots that feel delightful, spaces that you forgot about, areas that smell good or bad, objects, plants, and buildings. Notice things up high and the ground beneath your feet.

Lastly, take a photo your your destination. You can add it to #OKwonder (along with a picture of you map!)
