Folds: Week Two
100 days of folds
Halfway through week three, here is the recap on week two!
My focus in this early research investigates how different materials respond to a fold or folds and how the fold transforms a raw material to an object.
For future studies Iβd like to start thinking about folds differently while still respecting materiality. Iβd like to think more metaphorically and abstractly. Can I fold non material things like time? Can I fold things that are unfordable. Can I use a fold as a tool? Can I look at types of specific folds and specific symbolism? Is there a way I can look at folding my different identities or my artistic practices?
