I wonder, can you create a drawing that repeats?

With a pice of paper and a drawing tool, I dare you to illustrate a repeating pattern.

Take a blank sheet of paper and make two vertical folds so that the side edges touch each other.

Draw a shape over the seam.

Then unfold the paper and refold horizontally so that the top and bottom edges touch.

Draw another shape over the seam.

Unfold and add a few more shapes to the middle of the paper.

At this point you can leave your work as a line drawing or add some color.
This is now your repeating pattern!

From here you can take a picture or scan your drawing and crop your image exactly to the paper edge. It should repeat both horizontally and vertically.
