For my first (and last show) of 2020, I’m so grateful to have been included in Shelf Show by Jody Hays, a collection of work made by some wonderful artist/mothers.

The concept for the show swims around the ideas of motherhood, stacking, growth, feminity, habits, materiality, and order.

My contribution to the show, three drawings (ink, watercolor, highlighter, color pencil, on folded handmade paper) spoke to ideas of motherhood, daily notations, and stacking along with reflections on motherly loss, memory, and remembrance.
